About Us

Money can’t buy you happiness but it does bring you a more pleasant form of misery.

Spike Milligan

As Chris, founder of the Money Mentor Club, reflected on his career, the exams he’d studied for and his real life personal and client experiences, he felt strongly that there was something missing from the numerous text books he’d read over the years.

Yes, it’s important to understand the technical aspects of taxation, financial products and the economy in general, but it is just as important is to understand ‘real’ people, their behaviours and their attitudes towards money.

Attending a conference on ‘happiness’ the subject highlighted numerous examples of where the accumulation of money for moneys sake did not bring happiness and actually for happiness money was not that important.

So was born the The Money Mentor Club. We see ourselves as people you can talk to about your finances, your worries, your questions and your ambitions.

We want to understand the role that money plays in your life, the relationship you have with it and to help you understand this.

Our process is to educate you through the entire financial planning process by running seminars, webinars, face to face and to help you to address the 5 Ways of Financial Wellbeing:

Statistics have shown that:

78% of professional athletes in the US have gone bankrupt
55% of lottery winners have filed for bankruptcy
